The vision & philosophy
Initiated in 2022 by senior BJP leader and nationalist thinker Shri Sunil Deodhar, Samrasta Shri Ganesh represents an emotional, ground-level renaissance of India's cultural ethos.
When Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak transformed domestic worship into the Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav in 1893, his goal was to mobilize every stratum of society into a single national fabric. Carrying this historical mandate into the 21st century, Samrasta Shri Ganesh removes every artificial barrier of caste, faith, gender, and social status. Here, Ganeshotsav is not merely a religious ritual; it is a live expression of Samrasta — integral social harmony, dignity, and mutual belonging.
At the altar of Samrasta Shri Ganesh, the sacred rituals and aartis are performed not by privileged hierarchies, but by the hands of those who form the wholesome bedrock of our collective society.

Since its inception, this sacred celebration has welcomed sanitation workers (safai mitras), Dalits, Vanvasis, transgenders, and citizens across faiths to perform pooja and seek blessings.
